Having a plan on the bars to hit and a vague order on how to go about that will help big time for when one of you get list because they will have a vague idea of where to look. This plan may not work and this is why you should have some sort of a designated babysitter that watches over everyone without getting wasted. Before the pub crawl, you should ensure that you are well fed and hydrated too. Pacing yourself will prevent you from being the one that blow their wad at the very first pub and never gets to the next one because your mates will either choose to stay with you, or leave you with a bartender r that would rather do anything but watch over you.

You should instead mix the drinks with soft drinks, because this is one of the ways that you will be there till the end and you should also not be pressured into the top shelves spirits, not healthy.
You should always either have a designated drive, take a taxi or a bus and never drive because you cannot do that while you are not focus and this is s stag do where you will be least focused. This is a team thing and the same way that you would want the people that you are with to look out for you, you should also look out for them and especially the stag. You should also have a plan on what to drink, maybe contribute and have one of you do the orders and the paying to avoid the quarrelling and the faffs every time that you go into new bar.
